W 83-78 Friday night at Ballhalla did not disappoint and we’ve got the winning streamers to prove it! At Ballhalla, winning is a habit and it’s turning into a full-on vibe.

Katie “Money” Martin is back in her bag. She dropped three 3s and for every shot, not a soul in the house remained seated.  She’s finding her stride and Ballhalla loves to see Kate make it rain.  She delivered a strong 11-point performance—each bucket a reminder that that woman can ball. Kayla Thornton lit it up for 29 points and Tiffany Hayes had 13. The Valkyries aren’t short on scoring options and it shows. But also, don’t sleep on Kaitlyn Chen. She had 10 points and ran the floor like a seasoned vet, dishing, driving, and making plays that don’t always show up on the stat sheet.  Playing some aggressive D, she dove to the floor on several occasions and forced two jump balls. The rookie is proving she’s an asset to Golden State.

And of course, all eyes were on Angel Reese, who came to Ballhalla with plenty of hype.  She delivered and there’s no doubt she’s exciting to watch. With 17 points and 18 rebounds, she gave the fans everything they came for. Her presence in the paint made every possession a battle. It’s easy to see why she draws a crowd, and she didn’t disappoint.

Speaking of the crowd—Ballhalla is turning into one of the league’s most electric environments. The fans showed out in full force—per usual—Friday night, rocking violet gear, shimmering sparkle jackets (my personal favorite), and enough energy to lift the roof off the Chase Center. Every run, every three-pointer, every defensive stop was met with a roar that made it clear: this city believes in the Valkyries. The Valkyries are giving them every reason to.

Golden State is no longer just trying to figure things out—they’re building an identity. Tough. Strategic. Fun. And above all—winning. At Ballhalla, the trend is clear: opponents beware, because the Valkyries have found their formula, and it’s working.

Next stop? More Ws. Same energy. See you at Ballhalla tonight as the Valks face off against the Storm.
