Thank goodness a basketball game is two halves, because the Valkyries desperately needed the second one against the Dallas Wings. At half time, the Valks were down 36-30. A close game, sure, but one where neither team could find the bottom of the net – not very inspiring offense from either team. Post-half time, both teams were able to find their rhythm, and five players ended up in double figures for the Valks by the end of the game.

It was Paige Beucker’s debut game in San Francisco, and Ballhalla showed out with another sellout crowd. San Francisco loves PB5, and it showed. There were more Paige jerseys and UConn gear in the stands for this game than there were Caitlin Clark jerseys and Iowa paraphernalia when the Indiana Fever came to town! It was very cute to see Paige and Kaitlyn Chen take the court together, albeit for opposing teams!

There’s another long break between home games, and then next one is on August 6, 2025, against the Las Vegas Aces. At the Wings game, we saw Brad Podziemski wearing a Salaun jersey. Looking forward to see what Podz has for the Vegas game!
